For years, “doudoir” photography—a playful, often ironic take on boudoir for men—has been a popular trend. While it’s great that more men are stepping in front of the camera, this genre has often leaned heavily into humor and irony, particularly for plus-size men. The message was clear: boudoir for men wasn’t meant to be taken seriously.
But here’s the truth: men deserve to feel sexy and confident, too. They deserve photography experiences that celebrate their bodies, personalities, and emotions without being reduced to a joke or stereotype.

In couples boudoir sessions, we've heard joke, “I’m just a prop for her.” Beneath the humor, there’s often a deep sense of vulnerability and uncertainty.
